Sensile Medical develops and builds micro pumps for liquids based on patented technology which incorporate only few mass production parts. The components of the pump are precision plastic parts, manufactured in a controlled environment. This results in a precise pump at a very competitive price.

Due to its built-in sensor technology, it senses occlusion, leakages as well as air bubbles in the fluidic pathway. This helps our customers to reduce costs for additional sensors and control efforts.

Any kind of active micro fluidic handling or analysis system requires some kind of micro pump system. In addition, fluidic systems, which rely on miniature pumps might be reduced in size or enhanced in their performance and functionality by integrating a micro pump.

Summary

Sensile Medical’s micro pump module enables predetermined quantities of liquids (in the range of 250 nl to 100µl per cycle at up to 2 bar delivery pressure to be pumped with high accuracy. It is small, cost-effective, and disposable.
